Heritage Papers – May 21, 2010 – “Service groups collaborate with Washtenaw United Way to identify needs”

In a fact finding mission May 20, representatives from area service groups participated in a problem solving workshop hosted by the Washtenaw United Way and County Commissioner Mark Ouimet to determine how the county can best aid residential services in the western and southern parts of the county in the upcoming fiscal year.
“I was extremely pleased with how many people turned out. We had representatives from Whitmore Lake, Saline, Milan, Manchester, Chelsea and Dexter,” Ouimet said. “There was valuable information exchanged specifically on issues that challenge each of these communities.” Read more…
