A Gallup poll last fall found that the number of people who say there is too much government regulation of business and industry has reached its highest point since Gallup began asking the question in 1993.
In the new survey, 45 percent say there’s too much regulation, while 24 percent say there’s too little and 27 percent say the amount is right.
Considering how a lack of regulations led to the country’s housing crisis, this may come as a surprise to some.
